all depends on set-up and what AR you want best bet is for your friend to give forceinductions a call and give specs on motor and what not and what his goals are....on the setups that ive seen full boost by 3000 or so

Hey rick, PM me for more info i might have a complete single turbo setup for sale that your friend might be interested in, its front mount and keeps a/c and keeps the front sway bar. We talked a LONG time ago about a hood or wheels i believe, but i dont remember what it was...i do remember though that you were either away in iraq or somewhere like hawaii ??? Ricky, with the 76 you'll probably get some lag till 2800-3000RPM. It'll come in stupid strong after that. You need to remember that lag is a product of a larger turbo. You can throw on a little turbo (TO4 for example) and have almost no lag....but it'll max out by 5K RPM. OEM turbo's are designed small to prevent lag....for example a MazdaSpeed3 wil max that turbo out by 5800RPM....and it has a 6500RPM redline. You can also reduce lag by running hotter exhaust, which is a mix of thermal wrap and the air/fuel ratio (leaner gets hotter). So, the setup and tune will directly affect "lag" as well as the size of the turbo (and why you'll hear multiple answers to a seemingly simple question).

Get over the "lag" question and look at useable power both at the top end and "under the curve".

So......76 is a good choice
