Two routes with FI motor, what would you do?
Im currently in the process of building a FI motor for my OFI kit. Im going to be running a TC76. The car is going to be a daily driver and it will see a roadcourse once a every month or two. With the budget that I have set I have two ways to go with the longblock and I cant decide.
My plan is to make AT LEAST 700 rwhp. The more I can get the better.
Here are the two options I have chosed.
1) 347 with AFR 205 or 225 heads
or
2) 383 with Patriot LQ9 heads
So which one would you choose?

383 lq9's will work get to 700hp and better heads are easier to change than the hole motor.. either set up will make 700.. thats pretty much what i'll be doing this fall, i have a good short block and just gonna run my lq9's for a lil bit and they will still make plenty of power for a street car.

Im not going with LS2 because I already have the LS1 block and stock crank. Got it for free. Plus I am a diehard LS1 fan.
I guess I can always update the heads on the 383 but I dont want to keep pouring money into the car. I just want to do it once and be done with it. Plus I have some exterior mods I want to do in the near future.
