Default Ls7 Clutch with procharger

I plan on runing around 450 to 500whp with my procharger d1. WIll an LS7 clutch hold or should i buy somthing different?

you'll be okay for a while as long as you break it in properly.

I ran one in my old twin turbo 01 SS at the 580rwhp level for quite some time. Car ran 11.8@130. We then ran the car on the street at the 675rwhp with no issues but it wasn't launched hard.

SEVERAL Z06 guys on another forum with nothing but complaints about the stock LS7 clutch... been reading this for a few years now, problem after problem at the track... just FYI...

Street use it'll be fine, but I wouldn't try to break any 1/4 mile records with it.

We've had great results with the Spec Stage 3+ clutch assembly at your power level, which is what I would use. Bob

+1 with this.. Im running a spec 4- but would go to a spec 3+ for the street if i would do it again..
