Default Got the LSX to the track

I had tire spin issues, not sure why. The track seemed to be hooking for other people? I had it at 13lbs doing 1/8 mile tech issues, they teched my car to 10.0's. Dew started to creep in so I turned it up to 15 lbs and gave it a shot. Breaking in the motor, that's why low boost. Anyways it when 8.9 153mph with a 1.33 60'. Not bad for low boost but I have to figure out why the car wants to go sideways on the 1-2 shift???? I ran one pass 10.1 @ 77 mph. LOL Breaking hard

Oh yea for some reason I'm letting off the gas up to 53% after letting off the trans break all the way up to the 1-2 shift where it goes back up to 97%. That's never happened before? Weird night!

Big power for low boost. Killer shakedown. Sounds like track prep/dew killed you.

I really can't say it was the track. Something in the chssis isn't happy. It could be the tune up? I have to recheck timing, It could be that I have more timing than big stuff is showing. I've run my car at 23 lbs and not had it do that on the 1-2 shift. It's possible when I short shifted it (6800 instead of 7500) and going back to full throttle at the same time did it.

Did you do anything with the suspension after putting the LSx block in. I know it's a decent bit heavier than an LQ block. More weight in the front might be causing it not to hit the tires as hard.

I had to raise my front springs to get my balance back after adding the LSX block.

No I have not. I noticed it sits a little lower in the front. It 60' 1.33, 1.33 and 1.35 I can normally run a 1.2x on a good track. It's the 1-2 shift that's a bigger problem. It could be sitting too low in the front not letting it hook up down the track?

yes..too low up front could have a good amount of weight off the rear tires.

especially on a bump or shift at a slightly rough track like GLD

Yea Larry, between the turbos, big I/C, plumbing and the LSx that's alot of added weight up front. I'm going to weigh all four tires. I've never done that before.
