Default 800rwhp fuel system

I'm currently procharging my LS1 418 I plan on 16# of boost and 800+ rwhp. I have most of the parts now just a few questions.

I know dual 255's is going to barely cut it with this kinda of power and stock lines but I'm going to give it a try I have fuel rails and 95# injectors. The stock lines are from the engine bay to the tank and it has been converted to a returnless system.

Questions:

1.)Do I need to set up a return system if so I'll probably just do all new lines?

2.)Better yet can I do a returnless system and just run the dual 255's and see how it does on the dyno?

You need a return...

Also, you can cover that HP with 79 high Z injectors that work with your OEM PCM and won't need an intermediate driver like those 95s.

You might be able to get away with doing twin walbro's and turning the second one on under boost, but I would go ahead and put a set of rails on the car and a front mounted regulator.

I would do that and run new "Bigger" lines. I got a buddy that ran 14 psi and made a little over 700 HP. Could have made more but the stock lines couldnt keep up and he was runnin really lean. If your goin 800RWHP you definitely need to upgrade to bigger line. Jegs has 20+ft Coils of -06, -08, & -10 for pretty cheap. I would say go ahead and get the -10 just to be on the safe side.

People have made 1000rwhp on stock lines, rails and having the regulator up front is the most important part. Running larger lines is the best way to do it, but the lazy people like making stock stuff work.

Ok I'll plan on setting up a return using the stock return lines for now. What regulator would use guys recommend?

I already ordered the 95# and the driver mainly because the only thing holding from upping the boost is the heads I'm going to put on Patriot LQ9's. When my budget allows I may go to some trickflows and up the boost.

Thanks

I have complete fuel systems available if you are looking to do it once & be done with it. They are complete with everything needed for a complete kit....
braided -8 supply & -6 return, all fittings, fuel rails, filter & regulator.

The only reason I haven't gone with a full kit is because I already have the fuel rails but maybe we can work something out.

Thanks Lonnie I'll be in touch.

Anyone know how big of a PITA it is to change out to aftermarket lines with the tank installed? I already have the trap door just concerned about feeding the lines down.

One other question on my second pump should I wire it to run all the time since I'll have a boost controlled regulator?
