Default Will stock injectors work?

I have a ls1 that I am putting a set of prc 5.3 stage 2.5 heads, a comp 228 cam and a fast intake on. Will the stock injectors work, or will I have to go bigger?

I would say the stockers would be maxed with that setup. Custom njectors can be had very reasonably with FIC, one of the site's sponsors.

Get some 40#s and forget about it. Do you have any long term goals aside from the mods you listed?

Long term goals always change. I am sure I will do more and more because that always happens. Will 40's work well if I change the setup down the road?

What size are stock ones?

Depends on the year of the f-body. What year are you?

i believe they are either 26 or 28 depending, neither will change the high duty cycle you will be running with your setup with one you will be at 94%, the other at a little under 90% as a general rule you are to stay around 80%. If go 60# and be done with it, that should hold you over until you need to redo your fuel system(rails, return, dual pumps, etc)

60#'s would be overkill IMO. 42#s would be good enough, and give the OP some growing room.

Get a pair of Ford 42#, you'll be fine with those.
60# injectors will work, but like no1izspeshl said "overkill". 60# can do something like 850rwhp N/A...
