Default another fuel line help thread

for starters, I have the victor jr with edelbrock rails, twin walbro 255 intanks, aeromotive boost referenced FPR. I am trying to compare 4 different write-ups to make sure i have the right parts, and i'm now as lost as i was when i started. I am trying to use my evap line as a return and run that into the bottom of my aeromotive front FPR. I want to run an -8AN feed from tank to rail. So don't i need the 15117 from aeromotive not the 15118? I know I will need the 90* fittings for the crossover, what fitting do I need for the ends of the braided lines that goes into the SUM-220163B I plan on getting? Or does these lines come with whatever fitting you need? What fitting do i need to get the new feed connected to the tank? I know it seems like I'm asking someone to put in all the homework for me, I just don't want to order the wrong parts and have to wait on returns and all with the holidays nearing. Thanks for the help guys!

Question, why is it not a good idea to run feed line directly into fpr in port since there're two of them? going off diagram's from searches, everyone runs the feed directly into the rail>crossover>rail>reg. also, does it matter which line the fuel filter is in?

You no not have to use the evap. line as a return. there is already a return line.

Trying to reinvent the wheel.
According all the experts on this forum the stock fuel lines should be good to 1200HP
With three walbro pumps.

now after looking at diagrams, there's no dedicated return, so i'd have to use either the evap or feed as the new return and run a new feed either way. So i guess i can just do away with the evap line and vent it, and then use the original feed as my return so it can be a 3/8 vs 5/16. since i'm running a -8an feed, that should be good for my 1000hp app.

we must be classifying two different types of experts, because i've only seen reports of 6-700hp.

Oooohhh ok, yeah I got ya now. But I still need to run a separate feed to the FPR so in that sense, I will ultimately still have to have a dedicated feed and return. Nobody includes the fuel filter on their diagrams, is it supposed to filter the feed or return side?

Filter the feed...you don't want crap getting into your injectors. If the filter is after the injectors, it won't do much good in preventing that.

Ok makes sense. Now I have to get connectors to hook into the filter ends. I was trying to avoid that so I don't order the wrong connector. Am I getting the quick disconnect connector like the 15118? Going on the end of an -8AN line?

Aeromotive 15118: 3/8" hard line quick disconnect to -8 O-ring Boss (ORB)
Applications (LS1 F-body, 1999+): the stuff on your car that will take this fitting include the feed and return on the top of the tank, the fuel filter (stock style), the feed line to the front of the car, and the return line that runs after the fuel filter back towards the tank (stock style routing).

Aeromotive 15117: 5/16" hard line quick disconnect to -6 ORB
Applications (LS1 F-body, 1999+): the stuff on your car that will take this fitting include the EVAP hard line and the EVAP (center fitting) on the top of the tank (fuel bucket assembly).

Note: the ORB part is very important with these fittings - each quick disconnect fitting will need an AN to ORB adapter fitting (and will add to the price of an already expensive fitting). If you are running the 15118 and want to connect it to a -8AN line, you'll need an Aeromotive 15607 adapter (-8ORB to -8AN). If you are running the 15117 and want to connect it to a -6AN line, you'll need an Aeromotive 15606 adapter (-6ORB to -6AN). They also make reducers that will allow you to hook a -6AN line to the 15118 fitting, if required (I used one of those on the top of the tank for my return) - Aeromotive 15605 (-6AN to -8ORB).
