Default bungs in plastic tank?

Anyone put bungs in bottom of factory plastic tank for -8 or -10 line? If so what bungs did you use and how you route your return? Thanks for any Insight

You don't need a very large line for the return. I think most people will modify the pump bucket before putting a bung on the tank itself.

If you do end up putting a bung on the tank, make sure the seal is above the fuel level.

A bulk head fitting w/ an extension tube, to get the flow below the fuel level, is how we do it. And, it's as far from the pickup as possible.

the base of a fuel cell are intended to act as feed lines, not a return line. I guess you cold use 1 for the return...I'd not do it.

From what I've read, it has been done multiple times. The negatives I have read is that some guys can't get it to seal right and it leaks. Other guys have said that they never go below a 1/4 of a tank bc they don't want to chance sucking in air and ruining the pump. Recently on ls1tech and other sites there has been a video of a white T/A pulling the wheels on the street against a GTR. It appears he has a -10 or -12 line plumbed into the bottom of his tank. I would find out who he is and get his 2 cents.

dont use with E85 unless you get a seal made for e85
or you can use some permatex Motoseal and not have issues with e85
