Default NEED HELP: N2O Fuel System

I'm going to be installing a dual nozzle wet kit on a heads/cam, forged internal '01 LS1. I plan on spraying 150-300. The car made something like 390ish rwhp on 28" slicks thru a TH400.

What do I need to support an additional 150-300HP ?

A 150 and a 300 is a night and day differance. Setting the car up for a 150-200 (maybe even 250) is no problem. A good intank fuel pump set up, relocating the FP regulator, and possibly a new set of rails will do the trick. But if your going to really be hitting the car hard I would go with a stand alone set up. Basicly you'll need, a fuel tank, regulator, and high or low pressure pump depending on how you want to set it up. I personally think sending any more than a wet 250 shot through the intake is starting to push it. Both with puddling and distribution issues.

If you want to avoid a DP set up you might be able to go with a 2 stage wet/dry combo but you would probrably have to upgrade injectors also if you went that route.

GM Muscle -- I see what you're saying. The car will probably only see about 200HP in nitrous. Will a single Walbro 255 handle that? Otherwise, what do you suggest?

Thanks.

We have done single pump Racetronix kits (with a fuel rail fuel regulator) up to 615 ish before. If you are at 390ish now and want to spray a 200 shot that puts you around 600 ballpark. I personally would not go with the Walbro pump over the Racetronix. IMO anything over a 200 shot I would be looking more towards a dedicated fuel cell for the nitrous.

Can't you just do dual in-tank? I've seen the stuff that NitroDave's has to offer... I can't move my battery because there's no room in the back, and I can't move around my fuse boxes because I have the rest of my nitrous setup there too. So the only place to put an extra fuel cell would be where the T-Tops go, and my T-Tops go there so... no extra fuel cell for me. The only thing I could think of was dual in-tank.

thanks,
somebody

My initial thoughts were of a dual-intank setup.
What's needed [aside from the 2 Walbros] to complete that type of system?

Also, I really don't want to run a dedicated fuel system on the car.
I'm confident that I can support all the fuel I need for a 200-shot without one.

Anyone else with suggestions?

Thanks again guys.

Go to mightymouses home page. He has a goodwrite up with pictures on a dual pump install that has supported 900ish rwhp. Basically dual pumps in the cannister y'd into a -8 feed line through aftermarket rails, through a front mounted regulator and uses the stock feed line for the return line back to the tank.

As Matt said. If you want to do it right, buy the Racetronix kit over a Walbro. However, I personally run a Walbro 255 only (no hotwire kit or booster) with a 2 stage 225 shot. The car should be making around the 600rwhp mark. On the bottle the car holds 58-60 psi and the A/F ratio runs 11.0-11.2 every pass. So, the pump is deffintaly keeping up. I do get a pretty good lean spike though do to the fact that I havn't relocated my FP regulator to the rails yet.
