Default 42LB are good to how much RWHP with Procharger

with 8psi on a D1sc and a 255 intank fuel pump how many rwhp are the 42lb good for I have heard that 550 is the limit so is there anything wrong with going with the 60lb if I only have 500 rwhp right now, in the near future I will be looking for a little over 550 with a few upgrades thanks

closer to 500 unless you run them static.

go with the 60's no reason not to.
especially if you know your gonna keep going for more power.

I will more than likely order them then the reason I ask is because all my retarded friends kept telling me I might end up with a rough idle.

they should be good to about 600+. A local car here in florida has them in his cammed nitroused t/a making I believe in the 530 range. The injectors are between 60-70% duty cycle.

different bsfc for a blower car. no way will they be good to 600.

the 60's will idle fine as long as you tune it right.

One of my customers had the 42's on his procharged H/C vette and they tapped out about 560. Went with 60 lb motrons and now has plenty of room. At 650 rwhp he was only 73% DC on them.

Are you talking about SVO injectors? I am at 544 rwhp on them now.

I did the setup on 2000Silverbullet's TA and used a Racetronix PnP kit with the SVO 42's. They worked good at 525rwhp, but they are maxed out at 570rwhp. He is running a P1SC at 9-10lbs of boost. I'm going to either going to raise the fuel pressure a little or stick some 60's in it in the next few weeks.

No reason not buy 60s at all if you are buying new, they are pretty easy to tune and the car will idle fine.

I agree, if your future plans may include forged internals and an increase in boost, you might as well go for the 60's now. With tuning, they will idle about as well as 42's. Bob

Bob, It's great to see you over here. You were the only "tech worthy" contributor on the other site. You obviously know FI. Any chance you'll become a sponsor?

42's are great for the average car! I would not get them if you have big plans to spend big money! After you spend 15k plus > you will need more than 42's....Anyone want to send me some mac-a-roni and cheese? I dont have money to eat now....

Are the 60#'s just a PnP with the correct tuning? I thought 60's were lower impedance and you needed driver boxes? Or are there high impedance 60's now?

I want to get some 60's for my STS setup, but was told I need to get the driver boxes.

There are a few high impedance 60's . Mototron seem to be popular.

I'm on Siemens 57lb
