Walbro pump whining...on its way out? The pump has about 18K on it and its starting to whine/hummmmm. Kinda sounds like the A.I.R. pump but in the gas tank.
Has anybody else experienced this?

Get a bosch like Doug Rippie runs in alot of cars or a denso pump from a supra TT. Quiet nearly indestructable pumps.

moot point now, I already bought a new one and in the process of installing it.
I commute 100mi everyday and don't want to run the risk of being stranded.
