Default Fule Line Size

Does anyone see a problem with running either 2 -10's or a single -12 into a set of -8 fuel rails? I am running the -12 up from the tank and could split it off to 2 -10's or could just run the -12 into one side and have a cross over on the front and the -10 would come out the back of the other side into the regulator. Does anyone also see a problem with leaning out any of the latter cylinders? I have a walbro 2025 pump with 84lb injectors. Will be over 1000 hp. I just want to make sure that the single line will not hurt anything. I am trying to keep it as clean as possible. Thanks

you mean weldon?

dont think walbro makes a pump that size, nore with that pn.

I'd split it and run into the back of both rails then come out the fronts to the regulator. But I've seen it done both ways, with no problems...

Might try the black braided line. that would help hide things.

be sure and post some pics of the progress. I havent seen any of that stuff in use yet.
When I stepup and do a full fuel system I'll probably run that... Maybe with the polished/nickel/whatever coating on them though.

Sweet thanks MECHAM. After reading all of that it seems that most people are running the smaller lines and maybe smaller rails, so I figure if im running the -12 from the tank to the pump into the filter then up to the back of the -8 fuel rail then a cross over of -10 and -10 out the back into the regulator and a -6 return then I shouldnt have a problem. The injectors can only flow so much and the pressure will be so high that it will pressurize the system and as long as the lines are big enough to hold that pressure there then there shouldnt be a problem. The smallest thing in my system besides the return will be the fuel rails and supposably those are the biggest. I dont know ill just have to try it and see if it works. I will be getting my intake back any day now so ill take some pictures and post them up. Thanks again

Billy
