I use it here and there I add about a half gallon to a full tank of gas. You could add more if you like it only raises it a couple of points. If you want to know the exact ratio to mix and the points it raises it do a search for homemade octane boost there are some older posts here that is where I first did my research.

Back in my turbo days, we used 1 gallon of toluene or xylene per 4 gallons of 100 or 104 octane unleaded. This would produce a really good mixture and was a lot nicer to o2 sensors than leaded gas.

Toluene and Xylene are like 114/115 octane.

They are also extremely corrosive and that is why you need to cut it a lot. Once in the gas tank it mixes quite.

I knew some mustang guys in college that would run it when they used nitrous. Our Fuels teacher apparently taught them about it. They always added a cap full of tranny fluid to help lubricate the fuel system becuase the stuff is so corrosive. But I think they went like a gallon to 10-15 gallons of gas.
