Default RC 75's or 83 low Z's & convertor box?

Now that 75's can be had in high Z's what is still the best route to go? 396 LT1 w/ 15psi and shooting for 650-700rwhp. Price wise I come out cheaper w/ the RC's but at the same time I'm unsure. Not a fan of wiring at all but I'm not ruling them out either and want something that's going to give me the best part throttle response, idling and WOT possible.

So what's the consensus around here? I've searched but there hasn't been too much info on the 75's and it seems others are ditching their convertor boxes for whatever reason. Thanks guys.

I've got the RC Engineering 75lb injectors on a 408 turbo with a small cam. It was very easy to get them to work, work nicely at idle as well.

Thanks. How was your part throttle response. Pretty crisp considering how large the injector is? You do the tuning yourself?

Wouldn't 60Lb/hr suffice for 650rwhp?

I made 530 on 42s... shooting for 700 on 60s... is LT1 fuel pres diff than LS1?

Don't know what the psi is for LSX but w/ 60# and 650rwhp I'd have to pump the psi up to 55-60 and that puts the duty cycle above 85%. I'd rather be in the 43.5 to 50 psi range and still be under 80% cycles.

Key word "almost" LOL! I'm taking the plunge and going w/ the 75's and see what happens.

I run 96 lb with an acceleronics and am at about 70% duty cycle at 7,000 RPM with 15 psi and an 11.5:1 AFR. I run 45 psi fuel pressure so my pump doesn't have to work hard on the street. Have had no problems.

I have the RC Eng 72# (hi-impedance - no converter neccessary) and they have been as easy to tune as my 50's were. Idles at 750rpm. I am only seeing duty cycles now at 8lbs of boost of 72%.

I got them at:

http://www.raceprovenmotors.com/cart...238d9da61eb9a5

They were $680 plus tax/shipping in Cal. Raceproven swears they are rated at 75# at 43psi but they are labeled RC Engineering and at RC they are rated at 750cc/min or 72#/hour. For your LS motors with higher pressure they would be at least 75#, but more like 77# at your 55psi.
