Default Which fuel pump??

I am stepping up to at least a 150 NX shot. I am still running on the stock fuel pump. Which fuel pump do I need to get? I have heard about the Walbro and the Racetronix. I have not heard anything bad about the Racetronix, but I have heard that the Walbro does not do well with under 1/4 tank of gas. Please help me make the right decision!!!!!!!!!! Thank you

Go with the Racetronix In Tank Pump and PnP Wiring Harness.

Some like to do the Trap Door method of pump removal/install - I prefer to actually drop the tank (really not that hard) plus the tank really should be cleaned prior to the install of the new pump (Racetronix highly recommends this).

What year vehicle? The Racetronix kits are nice as they are plug and play, and you don't have to hack up the factory bucket. More info:

Definately do the Racetronix setup with the PNP as 1QuickWS6 stated. It's a great system. I'm running it and have zero complaints. It works well.

The trap door method for installation works great and makes things much easier and quicker. That's how I installed mine.

Can you get the pump by itself?

No matter where you look, the price is going to be the same unless you get on a GP at some point in the future. Just select a sponsor (I suggest Thunder Racing) and make the call.

I am sure that the walbro will support the 150 shot just as well as the Racetronix, however the racetronix is a easy pnp system and the you have to mess with the bucket with the walbro. I have heard of several people running out of gas at a little less that 1/4 tank with the walbro. I guess the pump over heats. Someone correct me if I don't have this right. As of right now I will try to get a GP on the racetronix.

The Walbro requires modifying the Fuel bucket. Thus the reason for fuel
starvation on Hard launches.

I think it will be easier in the long run to spend the extra $ and get the Racetronix.

My walbro works fine and I run my tank to almost dead empty quite often. Matter of fact I filled it the other day and the tank took 14.6 gallons to fill it. Install is pretty simple and since the price is cheap for the walbro I just did that. Although I hear nothing but good things about the racetronix kit.

The Walbro kit comes with a high pressure hose to replace the accordion stock one. Why does the Racetronix one use the same kind of accordion hose instead of a high pressure one like Walbro? I mean it's so expensive and they cheap out on the hose.

I believe you have it turned around a bit. The rubber hose that comes with the Walbro pumps is the inexpensive one that will break down over time.

He speaks the truth. The factory uses quality parts, like the accordian style hose. The plain "high pressure" hose is the cheapy that will dry rot crack and split on ya down the road!
