Default guys with 60lb injectors, whats your RWHP?

i just got my car dynoed and much of it didnt make sense.... im thinking i might have been driving through the converter.....

it made 573@ 5750rpms and its injector duty cycle is 90%.....

what injector duty are you guys seeing with your horse power?

yes its a good fuel system with enough pressure..... the guys at EPP did the dyno...

its a nasty cell -8line, magnafuel pump, billet rails.

Is the fp rock solid? Or is it boost referenced?

673RWHP/802RWTQ @100% DC without a boost referenced FPR. and 16psi boost (60psi fuel pressure-16psi boost=44psi across the injector).

710rwhp through a T400 with 86%DC with a FPR set at 60psi...rail pressure increased to 77psi but the injector only saw 60psi.

If EPP did the install and the tune for the new injectors you have recieved the best and most proffesional service that money can buy in North America period

Mine flashes to 5500..

Its a race car not a dyno queen.

Last time I had mine on a dynojet for some reason it wouldnt even crack 600 and it still ran 9.40s @ 144

Then I tried it again later in the year and it did 68x, and ran 9.40s @ 144 lol.

You did what you needed to do, if the fuel pressure was holding and the inj DC was that high and the a/f was in line then it was making some decent power, just go run it - thats what you built it for right?

you damn right its no dyno queen... lol... i know that with all the stuff its moving its making some serious power... i just hope i can hit some 6.500 in the 8th this spring with out throwing more money at it.... cause im broke

i also know that it being a mustang dyno tells a lot too... on a dynojet its atleast 600rwhp... plus the 3speed tranny with a huge *** unlocked stall...

My numbers are very similar to yours, and my 60lb injectors are at maxed 99%. I am starting to think its our ATI converters. Mine seems REALY loose uptop. It seems like they did KP's just right, since he is finishing the traps at 144mph, but my top speed is no where near that.

i laid out 520 rwhp on my 60s, base pressure of 43psi. will raising my base pressure when I retune allow me to squeeze a little more out of them as I am planning on adding a substantial amount of boost to the setup and dont want to change injectors if i dont have to being that I am an lt1 and a 60 is the most the PCM will control. I am also using an aeromotive boost referenced FPR

Yes it will. On the LS1 engines we start out wih 58 to 60 psi of pressure, and 60's get us up past 750 rwhp. Bob

You can do the RC 72lb injectors with stock computer, also with a versafuler you can run low impd injectors.
