Default Racetronix 255 lph fuel pump-?? hp

Up to what hp can I run a single 255lph Racetronix fuel pump? (with bigger injectors, of course)

I want to run a T76 gts turbo on a 383 LT1 and need to know if my feul delivery system will suffice. Thanks!

my car leaned out when I tried to spray a 150 shot cause I maxed out my pump. I think they can only handle 600-650rwhp on a single pump

This all depends on your motor's BSFC, required A/F and fuel pressure.
With a T76 you will probably making 650HP+ so you may want to consider one of our dual in-tank systems.

You may contact Lonnies Performance who deals with these systems:

racetroincx rocks easy install and i get about 62 psi on my fuel . i dont think your stock fuel lines can handle much above 650 rwhp it all depends. I thnkn you will need a inline regulator and a return line for good fuel above 650rwhp. duel intank reacetronicx sounds nice.

To go to a dual in-tank pump set up, what will I have to upgrade, besides another fuel pump, of course? Fuel lines, rails, a regulator?

You will have to change your current Racetronix system only. Please contact Lonnies Performance for all the details.

i just did the racetronix pnp system on my car, and it idles at 56psi and drops to about 50psi at WOT and now on nitrous, it is dropping to around 46-48psi WOT and bounces down around 40-42psi and then back up to 46-48psi. I am confused why it is doing this. I have svo 30# injectors and the 255 pump has worked just fine, and went out, so i replaced it with the racetronix set up and it is doing this. i am stock bottom end heads and cam, 150 shot. probably about 550 or so on spray at the rear wheels. i don't see how you got 62psi at idle

If you are still using the in-tank regulator, my guess is that would be the culprit (I have the same conditions, but no NO2). You may want to consider an external diaphragm-type regulator to keep the fuel pressure stiffer.

What modifications did you do to the bucket when you installed your original pump?

Did you e-mail support@racetronix.com first?

no, i haven't emailed support, cause i am troubleshooting everything else before i blame the pump. just wierd i am not getting as much fuel pressure as i was before. and the car stutter's like i said before and fuel pressure drops. i am checking vlave springs, compression check, injector's, etc. and as for modificaions, i didn't do the original walboro, almost 3 years ago, and they did no mods to the bucket. do you have any pics or info on modding the bucket?? i have an access panel , so it won't be hard to get to.

URLOSN,
If you have low pressure at idle, I would guess your intank feed line may not be sealed properly. This often happens when cutting the stock hose off by putting a groove the stock grey nipple in the factory bucket. The new flex hose cannot seal this groove. You can also overtighten the supplied hose clamp, pinching the hose & cause a leak as well.

Obviously the regulator can be causing this as well as numerous other things, but the above can cause a pretty significant internal leak.
