In tank pump....
Well, I think my newly installed pump blew the hose loose or something inside the tank because now it won't crank. It just turns over. I can hear the pump come on but nothing. I haven't had a chance to check the pressure but does this sound right to you guys? I wish I had the money to just go with a nasty performance tank and everything if I have to pull the tank again....so frustrating!!!

Oh yeah, that will definatley be a first before I start dropping that tank again. It has been cranking fine. It hasn't been driven since the install because I have been installing a nitrous kit, guages, disconnect, etc....I will check the pressure as soon as I can get my hands on a gauge.

sounds about right. my car quit on me about a month ago due to the feed line from the pump to the top of the sender coming off. it would run untill i gave it gas then die due to lack of pressure. what tipped me off was my a/f shot up to 18-1+ .
towed it home, took out the pump replaced the hose and been fine ever since
due yourself a favor and just cut an acces pannel though 100 times easier . it was a 10 min fix that way for me

Well, my assumption was correct. I finally got around to pulling the tank last night and sure enough the feed line hose was blown off. I am going today to buy a longer piece and also put an extra hose clamp on each end to make certain it doesn't come off again. What a pain in the butt!!! I am also going to modify my frame where the filler neck feeds through, so if I have to pull it again it won't be that much trouble. Also, I think I bent the filler enck this time....you guys think that will cause me any problems??
