Default Feed My 408

I did some digging in the furrums and found my answer about swapping tanks but still would like some help please I have a 01 and dropping a 408 with a blower in. I can get a good price on a barely used full custom fuel sysytem for it off a 98. Comes complete with factory tank tapped, all steel braided lines, external pump, boost reference regulator, fuel rails, etc. Would this be a dumb idea to swap the tank/fuel system or would there be any easier way to use my tank. One more question, this system is also coming off a 408 with a D-1SC and it was only running 38# injectors, I know with a big external pump you don't need huge injectors, but they seem kind of small. Will these injectors suffice? He was only running 8psi which I only plan on doing to start. What do you think? I included a couple pics. Thanks guys!

Joe is a good guy to buy from you wont be dissapointed. I think those injectors are going to be way to small for the route your taking you will need at least 60lbers. 8#s of boost is still going to net you some good hp depending on your heads ( I know the cam your running cause I also looked into the motor you purchased you just got payment there faster. which is probly good cause it forced me to go with a w2w ls2). If you plan to eventually bump up the boost that would be a system that would handle it.
Good luck
Brian

Thanks SVS707, I was actually going to send you a pm and ask your opinion. I checked out your build and I really like your car. Sounds great, looks great and of coarse runs great. So for what its worth your reply means alot. I will definetly buy that system now. I wanted to before I was jsut stuck on the fuel tanks being that it is a 98 and I have a 01. Thanks again guys, I will post results as soon as I am done but it won't be for a few months yet. Gonna wait till snow hits the ground

For you guys running big externals, how are they for noise. I hear they can be really loud, but isn't that just mostly at start up? I am debating between an exteranl system and a dual intank. They both have there pro's and con's I guess, but can't decide which would be better all round?

Ya thats the link I saw before, sounds mean. Sounds pretty smooth after the tune though. What are the specs on your cam, I think you said it is big but I couldn't find the specs if you don't mind? I was just curious because it idles really good after the tune.

WOW, that is big, not too sure what really is all that big for a 408, but sounds pretty hefty. How is that for driveabilty and how does it work with the procharger?
