incase anyone else is interested I did quite a bit of grinding on Daves bracket and got it to clear a stock F-body waterpump.

so im experiencing cold start issues after the car has been sitting for awhile, it seems as if the pump wont prime. im running a sumped stock tank and the pump is just a little below the level of the tank. would using one of the holley inline pumps to push the fuel to the belt drive pump cause a restriction or have any negative effect?

it is a return style system with a -10 supply and -8 return. just doesn't want to start after its been sitting for awhile.

Ive got a a few buddies that run a high flow check valve in line shortly after the tank and have zero starting issues.

you want to run it like this. where the electric pump bypasses the mechanical

if you put it in line it will certainly be a restriction

If you have a multiple port regulator couldn't you just plumb the electric pump feed into one of the ports?

if you want to run a nother feed line up to the front, lots of ways to do it

the pic i posted also moves any air trapped on either side of the mechanical pump

LS1PUNK, where did they get that check valve at? I looked around a bit and couldn't find one.

I think aeromotive makes one as well.

I used the this one http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ati-916631

you just have to turn the diameter on the back down a little smaller to fit into the ATI balancer.

I don't know if there is space? I've not been around one of these pumps. Was wandering about attaching it to another accessory/pulley...?

This thread was very informative for me so i thought i should share my set-up for anyone else doing their homework.

The Mighty Mouse bracket i picked up was the one for use with the Aeromotive bracket that came with the pump.

Only problem now is that i'm considering going 100% Methanol so i'm hoping this pump will support up to 1500hp

Here are the pics of it mocked up everything fits perfectly:

And just for the heck of it here it is with the AEI motor plate mocked up:
