Default Question on ABS reluctor ring

I got a 4 channel rear im putting into my girlfriends 3 channel car questions:

Is there a way to possibly just drill the top of it without a machine shop?

When I read the sticky it said use the reluctor ring - the 4 channels dont have one? Can I take the one off of her stock one and use it in the 4 channel? Is it hard to put on ? what are the steps?

Thanks !

you need a milling machine

you have to remove the carrier to drill it

you can reuse the ring, but you have to remove the ring gear to tap the ring off and you have to sanwich the ring between the ring gear and the carrier and tighten the bolts on the ring gear to draw the ring onto the carrier.

and in moving the ring gear the gears are going to be out of being just perfect and will start to wear and probably fail right?

is there a way to purchase just the ring gear and sandwhich it in without getting anything out of spec? Thanks
