Need drive shaft
I twisted my stock drive shaft into at the track yesterday. What kind does everyone recommend? Not sure on my power yet but should be well over 600 on N20. M6, 12 bolt. Thanks for any help!!!!

I'm eventually going to get the carbon fiber driveshaft, do a google search it'll turn up from a couple of vendors. Real lightweight, think it weighs like 6-7 lbs.

Both the PST and Strange Chromeoly are nice DS.....I currently have the Strange 3" Chromeoly from Midwest Chassis....either would be able to hold your HP/TQ. Call Eric @ Midwest....probably between $125-150 diff in pricing with the PST being more expensive( around $429 and up). The PST is a 3 1/2" shaft so clearance can be a bit tight with DSSL and such.

Make sure you really do your research on carbon fiber driveshafts before buying one. I haven't heard too many good things about them.

Personally, I agree with Bob that the PST 3.5" Aluminum DS is an excellent choice
I have also heard good things about the Inland Empire aluminum DS.
I run the PST on my car. Sure you can get a steel or CM DS that will hold up to as much HP or more than an aluminum version, for around the same cost or less, but a comparable 3" dia steel DS will have more rotational weight, and all other things being equal except for the diameter, the aluminum DS will have a higher Critical Speed which is much more reliable, robust, easier on the U-Joints, and will resist/absorb vibrations much better...
If you are putting out 1200HP or more - go with CM version for sure.
Don't base all aluminum DS on the properties of the factory DS, if you have ever seen one that has failed, the aluminum is so thin that the tube actually twists/tears and looks like a beer can. The PST DS is made of a much heavier/better quality fab process aluminum than stocker.
