Narrowed or stock length?
I am about to buy a midwest chassis fab 9 but I dont know if I should have it narrowed or not. Other than saving a little weight, what does it benefit to have it narrowed. Also if I do will it be harder for me to find wheels for it since I would have to have a different backspace? The car is not a daily driver, but is deff a weekend warior/strip car. It sees the road 2-4 times a week depending on weather.

I'm in the same boat as you and have been looking into this issue. I think if you are planning on running street wheels when your not at the track stock length would be best. If you have it narrowed your street wheels will be set in deeper and look funny. Unless you plan on buying new wheels for the street and can change the backspacing to match your set up.
