I'm sure this has been beaten to death like my ...... Just picked up a 2002 WS6 M6 and I am doing a gear swap. Big difference between 3.90's and 4.10's? One better for HWY/FRWY driving??
I'm gonna track it just a couple times and call it a day. It's gonna be more for show and around town play. The nine inch would be nice but I'm hoping to make the 10 bolt last. Plus I have a spare 10 bolt w/ 3.73 in case.
Elliott without a doubt do 4.10's. Try and find something with the GM 4.10's they're supposed to be very very strong gears and don't typically whine. I love M6's with 4.10's. Nothin like it.
you're running an A4,typically 3.73s' are used with A4s'. You'll be one of the brave that go above 3.73 with either a 3.90 or 4.10. I'm 4.56s' with A4 and love it.

Different car as specified in my original post. I currently own a 2002 WS6 m6.
