Default et and mph gains going from 3.42's to 4.30's

just curious to what the average et and mph gains are going from 3.42's to 4.30's (or since more people have 4.10's we can compare that too) on a H/C car

thanks

I cut 4 tenths off going to the 4.30's. I ran a 27" tire also. 6700 through the traps.

I dropped .3 in the 1/4 going from 3.42's to 4.10s.

Gears won't increase your mph. Maybe 1 mph if that. They will only drop your ET.

Can't remember for sure, but 1 to 2 mph seems about right.

i was planning on 4.30's and 27" tire at the track and 275 60 15 on the street

the reason i ask about mph gain is because now i go through the traps just after shifting to 4th and im nowhere near the powerband, so i figured being higher up would add a few mph

i picked up 2 mph going from stock 10-bolt to my 12-bolt with 4.11's. i think that keeping the car in the desired rpm range helps out the mph. and being able to wrap out 4th is a big help too.
