Removing driveshaft. . . .need help??
So im droppin the motor and tranny, and im to the point where im takin out the driveshaft. now i put the car in neutral, but i did that after i uninstalled the battery and tranny lines, and the driveshaft wont spin at all. rear wheels are off the ground and hand brake is off. what am i doing wrong? do i need to put the car in park, then reconnect the battery, and then put the car in neutral? the pcm is disconnected, does that matter? thanks for the help.

Should spin freely if in neutral, ebrake is off and tires are not touching ground. There will be some drag and might not be able to turn driveshaft by hand. Grab the tire and turn it till you get where you need to be

Thats what mine dose and my rear end is stock as a rock and never been touched. I had to spin both tiers in the same direction to get the D/S to turn. That and i layed under my car one day playing with it when i got board after putting on my new torque arm. LOL
