Default Those with MWC rears... come in please... idk how but i think i fucked up

Alrite, so after minor gremlins putting this rear end in i finally got it in tonight. Got all excited and went to throw the wheels on to start fine tuning ride height and start getting suspension dialed in and BAM wheels wont fit

unthreded the top shock bolt a touch (maybe 8-10 threads) and i can jsut BARELY get the wheel on the car, but sure as **** not enough to put the car on the ground.

LCAs are in 2 from the bottom, tq arm is in 2 from the top strange DA coilovers with 175 lb spring turned about 1/3 of the way up the body.

im seriously about to just push the car off the jackstands and call it good.

the only thing i can think of is maybe the strut isnt long enough? they were shorter than my stock struts.

HELP!

Crappy cell pic, but you can get the idea of how close it is. tire is a 295/45/17 MT ET Radial (27.5") and fit stock with no problem

The wheels hit on the top of the fender when the top nut is tightened down all the way, i loosened then up like 1/2 of the threads and then i could get the wheels on. No worries on being a tard, im more than frustrated (with problems with myself not the rear) and not typing everything out all the way. Cell pic is from after shocks were dropped down a bit.

Does this on both sides. Its not a panhard bar adjustment need to one side?

Hmmm I think I know what you're saying. How do you have the car jacked up when trying to put on wheels? By the frame or the axles?

Is it hitting on the inside of the fender like on the bump stop? You might have to jack the car up by the axle itself then put the wheels on

no the only place it is hitting is literally the top of the fender, like the place that you would roll if you were having clearance issues with the top of the tire. i have plenty of room on the inner fender and the bump stops are removed. If i jacked the axle up itself i wouldnt even be anle to get the rims close to the lugs let along on

i had to drop the shock about 1" to get the rim on. With everything tightened down the rim will not go on the car

What I'm trying to get at is how far are the tires sticking out? Could you just roll the fenders to get them to fit?

the tires are sticking out about an inch like they did stock, the length of the tires sticking out isnt the problem, its the physical hight of the rear end at the bottom of its suspension arc

I see what he means. I'm sure eric or jason can help out. With frame jacked up and suspension unloaded. The tire is hitting the fender when trying to slide over the studs.

BINGO! lol

yeah i cannot get the rear axle to hang low enough to be "correct" or ar least "correct looking" i guess. Ive got about an inch and a half of travel till i hit the bump stops. So i really think that the struts arent long enough not letting the rear end hang far enough. When i get home ill pull one of the coilovers off and put it next to the stock schock and compare length. i can put my stock shocks/springs back on the car and see how that works too

Here are a few different cell phone pics i snapped this morning before i went to school. shows the clearance problems.

closeness to the bump stop

How the coil is adjusted

how high the donut sits in the wheel well, suspension fully unloaded

Just got off the phone with Jason, looks like shocks got mixed up. Sounded like it was more a mix up at strange than anything else. Got a shipping label to send them back and Jason is going to send me the right ones. FWIW the ones i have a 16" bushing to mounting eyelet when stockers are closer to 20"

Was real easy just a few measurements and me and jason had everything sorted out.

gotta love dealing with great customer service

ill update everything once everything new is in
