okay guys the richmonds that i have in my midwest rear have got to go,they are just way too loud and want to quite it down some.What Brand of gears do you guys think i should try,i hit the track like once a year,and have a trak loc posi unit if that matters.And what else would i need for a gear swap on this thing thanks

i was just on the phone with Jason today and he was telling me Yukon gears are amazing FWIW

what ratio are you running? cuz some gears will just be loud no matter what

4.10 gears,are those yukons the ones that are supposed to be pretty quite

ive heard that yes the yukons are quiet, 410s do have a tendancy to be loud tho

I ordered a 9 inch from them with 4.10s. When I talked to both Jason & Eric when placing the order I got a lot of info from them but I didnt ask them what brand of gears comes standard with it. It will be about another month before I expect to receive mine & I hope the gears arent noisy.

ill be getting mine around then too. im going to be running 3.89 with a wavetrac. Im going to call them and ask about it. i hate noises like that. it makes it sound like something is wrong with it. I dont even remember what brand of gears he told me were going to be in it.

richmonds are known to be the noisy ones. Ill let you know how my 4.56s are when i get the car on the road

ive got Motive 3:70 in mine and they scream. keep in mind, if the gears aren't set correctly they will be loud regardless.

I will have to see if i can grab a set of these yukon gears and try them out.i will talk to eric or jason at midwest before i do anything to see what they recommend also.
