moser 9in install today, 2 questions
got the 9inch installed today and all and all and was wondering what i had to do to reuse old sway bar? i tryed getting 3inch exhaust clamps which worked but the bar still hit the housing weird and dint line up with one of the links correctly cause of it so i left it off, was wondering if i had to buy a new bar or what, and i was lookin at up grading to the 32mm or 34mm anyway but, and also, i know Detroit lockers are suppose to be clunky and all and mine kinda sounds clunky but, like its a lot more then i thought it would be, like if its suppose to be like this its ok but it sounds like the rear end keeps binding up (not in the way a locker would lock the axle together and wheel skip) and poping bad, sounds like a loud THUD or thump from the rear and u can feel it, does it when i ever i take off and does it twice when taking of from a stop and turning, im assuming its the locker but god damn its intense, if it shouldn't be this bad let me know plz, i just did the 10mile break in and lettin it cool now, besides that it drove fine no resistances or nothing and nothing got worse

If you want the tires to squeel and jerk around every turn tighter then a 40 ft radius, get a spool......otherwise, keep that locker. They do clunk and pop, but its just the nature of the beast. You want to start modding the car, get used to the noises...

Good deal, they do generally get better as they break in. Bob
