Default Gear Pattern Check Please?

It's been a while since I've set up gears, I'm a little rusty LOL. This is the new 4.10 gear-set in my 8.8, could you guys please check the pattern for me and let me know what it needs if anything? BTW these are street gears for a street car & backlash is about .009". Thanks a million!!!

Thanks Al. That's good reading, this one is good too. I'm tired of reading & interpreting the info, I was hoping for some clear direction . It's been a long day - I'll give it another shot tomorrow.

Tighten the backlash up up .002" - .004. The patterns should center up a tad more but you are very close.

I'm guessing you are using FRPP gears which are now made by face hobbing.
If that is the case, as mentioned above, decrease backlash.

The minimum spec per Ford is 0.008" but with hobbed gears, you can run a much tighter backlash.

Perfect. I'll do the final install on the pinion and reduce BL a little. Yes, they are Ford Racing gears. Thanks guys.
