Yup broke the axle shaft on the driver side. 10 bolt housing. Torsens diff with Motive 4.10 MT ET Streets and approx 321 HP running 12.7@108

Mods Ram VDS 980 which prolly helped (stock clutch slipped and saved my ***), Loud mouth lid filter, SLP high capacity radiator, fernco, tb bypass anyway bullshit mods not making that much power and a little Edit tunining done by myself

sorry to hear that. that sucks. the reason i was so interested is because. i am still running the bone stock factory 3.42 10-bolt axle and im running mid 10s. i had never heard of someone twisting one of our shafts off. usually just exploding the gear or firing the diff out the back of the housing. i was planning on getting a locker for the factory housing and keeping the factory axles, but after hearing your story i think maybe its time to open my wallet for the big 9". your lucky you didnt break your carrier too.

The reason why the carrier didnt go was because my dad is very diligent about rebuilding the rear. I am thinking peopole are breaking the carrier because the fuggin POS pinion nut tends to back off and pretty much the only way to stop the **** is to tack the fugger. So this time instead of grenading a set of gears which is usually the weak link in the system because of the pinion nut, I am prolly the first to have snapped the next weakest link in the rear. After buying the MOser axles if i break anything else its gonna get a 12 bolt or a 9" I dont feel like being bothered with the aggrevation anymore

There isn't a strong part in a stock 10 bolt! I know of a guy out here who broke at least 2 axles at different times. If you have a M6 and are going to race it, 12 bolt/9" should be required
