Was this rear originally built for the fbody? and if so it should be a pretty straight forward install. Are you looking at purchasing a new driveshaft?

Sounds like a straight forward deal, my driveshaft for my 9" to a t56 was 1" longer then stock. Some guys run the stock driveshaft with a ujoint conversion but I wouldn't want to drive it hard. Long story short just order from a vendor on here and tell the it's a 9" with t56 they will know the measurements (1" longer then stock)

Mine was $480 shipped from Brute Speed. PST 3.5" aluminum, 1350 joints, forged yoke, and an inch longer than stock. Fit like a glove (unlike my Moser 9 lol).

If your car is stock ride height they seem to fir fine. If your car is lowered be ready to make some room for it.

Yes it is, both the 4L60E and T-56 take the same length driveshaft. Bob
