The Proform girdle is made in China, I would avoid it, and get a; T/A, Summit, Trick Flow, etc (they are ALL made here in the USA, in the same factory with different names on the rear plate) instead.
These are only about $20.00 more than the Proform, and IF you wanted that one only for it's cool black finish, the as cast aluminum of the others can be painted with VHT black satin caliper paint.

i dont have another 2000 to dump into an aftermarket. the military doesnt pay very well i just need it to hold up for 2 years or so with bolt ons and maybe a cam, maybe a strip trip in the spring but thats it.

theres always a reason why something is cheaper, i would rather by from the US anyways. whats the extra $20 for the stud kit on their website?

Don't do anything to a 10 bolt because its a waste of money. When it breaks just find another 10 bolt for cheap. A friend of mine has literally given a complete 3.42 10 bolt away.

^^^As far as I've seen in my research, c-clip eliminators are not made for our 7.65 10 bolts.

Does anyone know for sure??

Strange has them for the 7.5/7.625 BUT special axles, machining required, will not work with stock disc brakes.
