Impossible to remove c-clips from a 10 bolts
Hi everyone, a few years, I'd change my axle bearings with timken axle saver bearings....:-(
Now I must remove my axle shaft and I can't remove the c-clips cause the shafts won't slide enough..what can I do to remove them??

your problem is the 'axle saver bearings' you used. they shift the axles outward so c-clip removal is improbable/impossible.

Obviously if the c-clips went in then they can come out, but getting them out is really difficult from what I understand. I almost went the saver bearing route until I read about the nightmares and decided to just get the regular bearing and seal and get a replacement axle.
You're probably going to have to really fiddle with it to get those suckers out of there, or you may have to find a way to cut the clips and get new ones (and hope that you don't damage something else in the differential in the process).

Mine were hell getting out too. It's been a couple years but I think I tried shaking my axles in and out and then used a magnet to pull the c clips out. I remember it took time doing this, maybe hit a few things with a hammer but eventually they came out.
