What 33 spline differential choices

I have the strange(eaton) unit in my car with 33 splines. Strong as can be. It doesnt have the "posi" I would like though. needs to be tighter. The 800 lb springs are not strong enough. I would see if anyone makes a "locking posi", where it would mechanically lock or some kind of electric deal. I thing auburn might have one for 33 spline.

I have the Eaton unit that came with the Moser and cannot say anything good about it. After 5000 kms I have broken spider gears and side gears. Car is 385 rwhp which is no where some of the cars here on the board and the posi unit needs to be rebuilt already. Again just my experience but when you pay alot of money for parts like these you would expect to get a longer life than what mine gave me.

I'm switching to a locker, after about 50 passes w/BFGDRs the posi in my 9" is done.
As for available splines for a 12 Bolt Moser has 30 or 33, I don't know about Strange.
BTW you can get up to 40 spline axels in a 9".

Everyone has different experiences. A buddy of mine has a Moser 33 spline with girdle. About three years old at least and over 150+ passes. His first set-up was 550rwhp on nitrous, 650rwhp with QMP turbo, 600rwhp on nitrous again and about to be 800+ with twin turbo.
