No traction control, I wouldn't think that would make a difference

What ratio do you have? 3.23 and up are 3 series carrier, so if you have a M6, you should have a 3 series.

I think ramair is confusing channel and series.

3-channel: only abs, no tcs/asr
4-channel: abs & tcs

2 series: 2.72 gears (as from GM)
3 series: 3.23, 3.42 (stock from GM)

There is only a 2 series or 3 series carrier. 3.08 and lower numeric is a 2 series, and 3.23 and higher is 3 series, which also covers the 4.xx ratios.

So having a 2000 M6 WS6 w/o traction control i have a 3 series carrier w/ 3.42 gears and a 3-channel. Correct? I ordered 4.10's for a 3-series carrier from thunder. I hope i'm right
