Default Best gears to match my stall

If I went with a Yank 3200 stall, should I stick with 3.23 gears or go with 3.73 or 3.43. I'm widening my stock rims to 11" with 315 tires. They are 17" Height

I currently have all bolt ons except converter and gears, don't plan on doing cam/heads or supercharger. Just all bult ons!

The 3.73's will be best for your set up. I am using these gears and love them. With the converter and the 3.73's, it will allow your car to remain the the higher rpm's between shifts. I had 3.42's until I broke my differential. The 3.73's are noticeably faster and more fun to drive. Going from a 3.23 to a 3.42 is not worth the cost.

There goes the gas mileage, right?

I'm thinking on maybe just leaving the 3.23 gears, gas is just getting ridiculous, "seriously!" I want to do 3.73 really bad, but man o man.

I went from 3.42's to 3.73's and still retained the same gas mileage.

City gas mileage improves, and highway decreases if your driving habits remain the same. Around town the 3.73 just gears the car forward more, with a 3.42 it has to make more power, or rev higher, to accelerate the same speed. Who really cares about gas mileage anyways, right? It's not like you're driving a dump truck.

City gas mileage improves, I highly doubt that! I know I shouldn't be complaining about gas mileage, but hey, gas is going up and it ain't stoppin'

That is the same setup I am running. It is fun, however higher would have been better. Go higher than 3200.
