Default Where to get a T2R diff.

I called Strano but he was out of them. Who else has these in stock?

How about a Truetrac? Same concept but different manufacture and at a discounted price.

I think the deal is Torsen waits until they have a big batch of orders before they do a production run of T2R's. When I got mine in 2004 I think I had to wait a month. I got it from the US distributor of Torson products on the theory that I'd get mine faster that way (but I won't name which one to avoid stepping on sponser toes).

The Truetrac product was far from market when I was looking. I don't see any specs on their website so I'll bet it's similar to the regular Torsen. The T2R is awesome (especially compared to my worn out Auburn) and I bet you like it.

They are good, strong diffs, but they are not as high bias as the T2Rs. Our cars go around turns the best with T2Rs, but I get the sense that the Truetracs are a little stronger. So if you are mainly into drag racing, get the Truetrac, if autocross/road racing/"twisties" are your passion go with the T2R.

It will be for auto x. I called Globel West and they dont carry them anymore, even though they have them listed on their website.

Actually Sam Strano also carries them. I think he is a sponsor here.
