Default TB400 with GV overdrive

I know this has been covered and I did a search, any help would be wonderful.

I will be converting from a built 700R4 to the TH400. I am trying to decide if I want the overdrive. Can I use the cross member, and torque arm relocation bracket that I already have if I decide to do the gear bendors overdrive? Will I need a new torque arm, one other than my Random Technology?

Did the install vary much by doing the gear vendors.
Thanks
Dave

I'm not sure if the gear vendors gets in the way of the stock sway bar, if it doesn't you can keep the one you have, but you got to get a shorter driveshaft...

WS6 chewbacca has a GV kit, do a search about it, you will find a long long post about it and how it all works.. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Where did you get a 700R4???? I want to get away from the computer controlled 4l60E but I don't want to go with a TH 350 or TH 400 b/c my car is a DAILY driver and I get a good bit of highway miles and I want to be able to keep my mileage and stuff and also be able to get dependability from a transmission cause this damn 4l60E just isn't cutting it!!!!

A local San Diego shop built it for me. I use the car for street/strip and it only lasted 1500 miles and eight passes. I also had 548 rwhp. I now need a TH400 so I don't have to rebuild the 700 a third time.

a built to the hilt 200-4R will suffice your needs but expect to pay for it

check out the trans section of www.turbobuick.com

theres a few guys in there that can build a 200 to last for a while with a 10 second car
