Default axel bearings ?

how the hell do i get the axel bearings out. i was using a slider hammer but it's not budging. any tips?

i also heard about using a long pole and slide it through the axel housing and punch it out from the back side

i just used a slide hammer with a hook attachment and keep trying finally they just broke up and fell out
