Default True-Trac owners, quick question

When turning, does the rear make a winding noise, very very similar to like driving a quiet car in reverse(like in my integra, if I go in reverse it has a winding noise coming from the tranny). I have this noise and i'd like to know if it's normal or not?

A better idea for the 10-bolt is the T2R.

Strano sells them too.

Mine is only when i'm turning left and it's drive side wheel that's doing it. Found out yesterday from Scott @ DLS that the noise is the axle bearing getting in a bind(which explains why the first bearing busted after 3 weeks of use). The reason for this is that the Axle shaft needs to be ground down(like with a bench grinder) 3/16". ONLY DO THIS IF YOU HAVE THIS NOISE. Sometimes Moser gets it right for the trutrac, sometimes they don't, it's not a big deal but it's just gonna keep busting the bearing if you don't do it, I would suggest anyone with a 9" trutrac pull out their driver side axle after about a month of use and check the bearing.

I don't road race. I was looking for a gear based posi stronger then torsen, which this seems to be. Are these made for 10 bolts?

i have a clunk when i'm parking and in gear and if i have the steering locked all the way and i push in the clutch with it still in gear and rolling forward, it's my driveshaft hitting my exhaust.. not a big deal because it doesn't happen any other time.

Because you say it's when your slowing down... are you riding the brakes when it happens? I would be inclinded to blame it on warped rotors or something in the braking... try downshifting from 40 to a stop and see if it happens without touching the brakes.

it happens on and off the brakes but not while slowing down under load (downshifting)

No it's not available for 10bolt as far as I know, probably because the 10 bolt is crap.
