Default Hear Ye, Hear ye, Attorneys: Has there ever been a lawsuit over the GM Rear Ends?

Just wondered with all these problems if there was ever a class action lawsuit - so that GM would have to pay to fix thier stupid engineering issue with the stock rear ends?

Gonna but a Strange, but I want GM to pay for it... grin, if I can.....

Anyone else wanna join this lawsuit? Attorneys have ideas?

Dave

Agreed. Very few completely stock cars on stock tires have broken rears.

True, true. The only feasible possible lawsuit I've seen the Sail Panel Paint bubbles. There is also the Cracked Door Panel, but that is Firebird specific. Trying to get a 10 bolt is futile. Bone stock and daily driving the chances of it breaking are slim, unless you're driving like a complete tard.

My stock rear end lasted 60K miles and over 130 track runs with zero problems.

I punched this guy in the nose and broke it, but my hand really hurts like hell because he had a nose ring... so I'm going to sue him!

I am reminded of the clip of the movie "Fight Club"

I just pictured that whole recall of cars being explained.

Why make a class action law suit though, honestly? It works for a daily driver. Not one time have I see a 10 bolt go for a cozy highway cruise or anything that's not flogging.

Had 10 bolts just started popping in parking lots, or had some sort of casting issue where the posi falls out of working order or alxes bind, then maybe.

But GMs penny pinching you can't do anything about legally.

I don't like your post, i'm sueing you.

Yes GM engineered the cars to be **** pounded with sticky tires. Lets sue them for breaking parts.

Yeah, I was launching my M6 car at 6000 rpm on a 250 shot with slicks and it axle hopped for 80 feet before I let out of it. Now my stock 10 bolt with 4:30 gears is broken.

Can I get a new rear end for free?

Seriously though, If your looking for a law suit go spill some hot coffee on yourself in a Mcdonalds drive through or something.

I wish I were so lucky. I am still waiting to move some ford parts to buy parts for my GM to replace mine. I beat the **** out of my 5.0 and it has not failed me. The Ws6 is driven like a luxury car (leather and 10-speaker sound system, I consider it one, lmao). Why must the expensive cars always break

3 mercedes in your sig and you can't come up with $2k for a rear end?

GM would probably laugh in your face if you tried to do that. When the car is out of warranty, that's it. They are not obligated to fix it for the rest of it's natural life....
