Best 3.73 ring and pinion install kit- Ratech?
I have some of the basic components, ie. shims, gasket bolts, etc but no bearings and the rest. Which manufacturer should I go with, Ratech?
Thanks

Yukon kit is a very high quality kit which uses Super Shims. You can order the kit directly from link below. Make sure you give them the correct year model of car.

Whatever you do... make sure they are TIMKEN bearings.
The kits available from Ratech, DTS, Randy's, Pro Gear and others are pretty much all the same... so it just comes down to cost at this point.
You might want to check out NAPA. They sell re-boxed (NAPA branded) TIMKEN bearings for a fair price. They also sell TIMKEN pinion seals... which I would recommend. Its the best pinion seal on the market. Now all you need to get is a cruch sleeve... and they have them as well.

Most packagers sell Timken kits, which is what I would recommend also. Motive offers both timken and non-timken kits. Also spend the money on the solid spacer, stackable super shims dont hurt either.

The Yukon kit comes with Timken bearings, two crush sleevs, easy to use super shims, GM marking paint with brush, bolts, correct pinion seal, locking pinion nut, gaskets, and good instructions. You cannot go wrong with this kit

If you get the Ratech make sure you check the bearings closely.
I have purchased 2 Ratech kits and both had incorrect bearings. I had a wrong pinion bearing in the first and one wrong carrier bearing in the second kit. Made the installs a b*tch.
