i have dana 60 with 35 spines and a locker wiht 456 gears and a 6 spd with lg x5 cam all bolt on except heads and water pump last dynoed with stock 10 bolt and 410 gears and no pullley 437.5 rear wheel after i put on pulley got on mustang dyno made exactly the same horsepower in cooler weather i figure i'm somewhere in the 500 hp motor range with i daily drive mine with mickey thompson drs and hoosier skinnies up front only issues i have to this point are rain and pot holes just recently put skinnies on but have had rear end on almost 10k miles made less than 3k miles ago i finally heard that rachting sound people talked about i pulled over checked everything out i thought i broke something at fiirst but i do have an off road x pipe and nothing else on my car and its loud i love my rear end really haven't got to go to the track to fullly use it been working or raining everytime i want to go but i do run it hard whenever i can on the street no complains i had lg motorsports install it probably wished i went with a spool because i hardly even notice the locker and especiallly since it doesn't hold the power the spool does and i could have saved money but i'm used to it when you buy cams or whatever people are always trying you to go smaller than you would like atleast for me andi plan in the next few months to add trickflow heads and a 150 shot of nos so thats why thank god i told ls1 speed i need at least a locker because a true when i read about it would hold about 600 hp rear wheel and i'm hopping to be near 500-550 rearwheel with my cam and then another 150 for nos and then hopefully and lsx block with some etp heads and ahuge custom cam with over 270 inch lift and over 680 duration if possible for my combo later and then a huge turbo to complement it and then we will see what happens from there.

Have a Dana60 and f**king love it. Alot beefer than the old 12 bolt I broke. I have pulled alot of 1.4x 60ft times. I have had no noises or anything. I would suggest to get the upgraded cover, because the standard old cheap ones tends to start leaking after a while. Mine has a drip from time to time. I have noticed some other peoples on the site leaking also. Other than that I love it.

Holy run-on sentence Batman!!
I had a really hard time reading that. 500 at the motor with M6 and 4.56 gears? What type of tire? That's a whole lotta gear
Anyone else have this rear? If so, where did you get it?
I recently broke my ****........

DLS prepped 60 here w/4.10s and truetrac. " on the cover leak, also had leak from ABS sensor (3-chanl), now sealed. Slight whine on light accel that's not bad otherwise quiet. I like it but it's the heaviest. It's def the choice IMO if your primarily a drag racer. I'm low and got full suspension and I'm just starting to get everything right and throw the car around a litttle more with the add'l unsprung weight on the street. Probly not the best choice for autox or RR.

I've got the first DLS prepped D60, and its still flawless after 2 years. It makes some noise 45-50mph but thats it. Been road racing it since the day I got it, probably over 1500 track miles. The TrueTrac does very well in the corners. I've never, ever, ever spun one wheel on the road course, in the burnout box, launching, or just messing on the street. Planning on running NASA Time Trials next year.

I've been fairly happy with my S60 other than the excessive gear noise. It's got the upgraded cover, 4.56gears, 35spline axles which I think is pretty much a given on all the Strange S60's and I also have the Detroit True Trac in it.
