Yes, but they are a little bit more Narrow. You might need to get a different backspaceing on your wheels. also the brake mounting plates are a little different I believe.

theres no way to take the brake mounting stuff off my car, and put it on the other rear end?

Yes, you have to remove the flanges (backing plates) and swap everythign between the two. you could technically run the earlier brakes (guys that run 15" drag wheels do). THe only thing to check is to see if the two rear ends are both 3 channel or 4 channel abs. Do both cars have (or not have) Traction control?

Rear ends between 93-2002 are the same for V6 & V8 cars. Although some are limited slip and others are non not. 1982-1992 Camaro rear ends would also work in non TCS cars but those do have a slightly different width and the ring gear is a tad smaller.

I swapped from Drum rear brakes to LT1 rear brakes to LS1 rear brakes, so no, its not hard. If you think you might be running 15" wheels, just leave them on.

I forget if I had to mess/change the ebrake cables, but other than that, nope. remember to get a new rear end gasket. good time to change the axle seals since you will ahve to pull out the axles.

3 Channel has ABS sensor on top of diff and 4 Channel has ABS Senors on both backing plates with ABS Rings.

just got off the phone with the guy. its a 3 channel. but he was explaning to me that i can just take off the backing plates, and all the stuff off my current rear end, and place it on that one. is this true? that way i can keep my abs. if not, and i did use this rear end.. i just wouldnt have abs in the back right?

yea...unless i swappped all from my rear end... its all good. since it came down to that i already have 342s. just the car is tuned to 273s i left my rear end. no point in the extra work. rear already sold and im picking up some 373s one friday. so hopefully once tuned to the right gear, and with the new 373s car makes a noticeable difference
