Depends on what you plan on doing with the car. For a weekend cruiser or daily driver with a short commute wouldn't be too bad. If you have a long commute you won't like them.

Problem that i hear with 410's in an A4 is if you get your car you will run outa gear and have to use overdrive before you finish the 1/4 and it will actually hurt your time more then it will help

The OEM rearend(GU5-3.23s')developed a 'growl' in Oct. 2004 on the way to SLP day in Englishlish,N.J. Being that I'm familiar with rearends,I wasn't overly concerned.I have 3 complete rearends in the garage and many gearsets hanging on the wall and many carriers sitting on the shelf.Since the 'hypertech' would accomodate a 4.56 thru its' programming, why not put the 'ultimate' gear in.The original OEM rearend is just being rebuilt with its' original 3.23s.It had a deteriorated right side carrier bearing.
Now 1st and 2nd are 'interesting' and so is kicking the throttle at 75mph.
I'm spinning 2400rpm at 60mph and 3000rpm at 75mph,not as bad/high as I thought they were going to be.
My 25.5 mpg with the 3.23s' has now become 20.5 mpg(theoretically it should have been 18 mpg based on mechanical ratio change) with the 4.56s'.
The engine is stock(305 hp) and it's been consistent 13.70s',the 4.56s' have made it consistent 13.20s'. 1/2 sec. ET gain with the gear change.

i had 4.10s in my 95 z28 and it was a daily driver. i picked it up in florida and drove it to oklahoma. thats a 25 hour drive. i drove 6 hours one day. then 19 hrs straight the next. i got around 19 mpgs on the highway the whole way. along with the 4.10s it had a 3500 stall, long tubes, cai, shift kit, tranny cooler, and a tune. ran 12.70s. go with 4.10s its not as bad as everyone says.
