I had my new clutch and gears put in at the same time....so I gave them both a nice 500+ mile break in period....

Typically a 500 mile breakin is preferred. First 100 are the most crucial in my opinion. We reccomend driving 15-20 mile increments for the first 100 miles, letting the differential cool for 15-20 minutes in between runs. After 100 miles distance is find but no heavy acceleration or abuse for the first 500 miles, then have the differential oil changed. We have found this works the best and we have seen no gear failure when proper breakin is followed.

I went 250 miles on my first set, then after those broke, I did 5 heat cycles. These haven't broke yet

150 so far....the richmonds make a slight sound so far, but it seems its quieting down nothing unbearable or unsettling. cant wait til I get through break in!!!!!! It's so hard to keep composed and not nail it...especially now that all the lil ponies wanna play! lol

When I got my 4:10s in the day after a cam swap, they told me a couple hundred before I try any speed shifting. But pulling out of the shops driveway it was fine to punch it from a roll...they were set up perfectly and still make no noise
