Default Need fast answers on 4:10s!!!!

I'm looking at a car tomorrow with 4:10s in it. It's a 6 speed. I'm gonna be daily driving it back and forth to work(50 miles round trip). What are the miles/gallon gonna be on this? I've read in a different thread of any gears you put in a 6 speed it won't effect it much. ANY help is appreciated guys! I'm going to look at it tomorrow! Thanks!

I got 25 mpg with 4.10's on a trip once. Mostly 20ish mix of city/hwy.

Mine dropped 2-3 mpg when I changed to 4.10s. If you are doing 75mph+ much you will see a drop. At 55mph and below(city), I doubt there is much difference.

I did 70-75 mph to work everyday and it didn't change my milaege hardly at all. Less than 1mpg. I wouldn't let mpgs affect your decision.

With this new car i'm scared the 10 bolt is gonna shatter with the 4:10s it has in it. Sounds like if I hook on the track it will go.

My highway miles went from 28ish to around 26 on my MN6 Vette. At 75 mph 6th still only turns about 2000-2100 rpms. 4.10s really wake a car up!

With an M6 go for them all the way thats what the 5-6th gears are for!

A4 the largest I would go though is 3.73 and 3.42's if allot of highway driving AND concerned about milleage
