Default help a moron please

i've heard a million times how easy it is to take out the axel c clips on a 10 bolt. for the life of me i cant get the ****ers out. it seems like tere isnt enough clearance for the clip to slide past the small diff gear. any help would be much appreciated and if you want to call me a moron, go right ahead lol.

Pushing in on the axles from the end where the wheels bolt on, will help to give you clearance to remove the c clips. Bob

theres some black ABS sensors or some **** between the brake backing plate and the plate on the axle that will stop you from being able to push the axle in far enough for the C-clip to drop out. easy to remove. I could be wrong, though this caused me problems the first time I removed my axles.

yeah, wat he said, on a 4 channel rear (traction control) you have to remove the ABS sensores to push the axles in far enough

remove the wheel speed sensor from the end of the axle housing. it should get you about a 1/16 more of an inch which will let the c clip come out.
