Default 9" Breather.

I totally overlooked the breather situation on my car when I installed the 9". I was wondering what everyone is doing. I have read a couple posts about vaccum line about 18 inches long. I was wondering if a check type valve like gm used would be neccessary? If so anyone have a part number. Thanks ALot!

I just used 5/16" rubber hose, ~12" long and left the end open. Works fine, no leaks anywhere.

Where did you pick up the breather filter at?

Ran some hose up along the upper panhard towards the passenger side, then went about a foot towards the rear bumper. Just zip tied a shop towel around the end.

You don't need a check valve or anything other than about 2 ft of vacuum line. We zip tie it up to the driver side gas tank strap. Bob

I believe it's a K&N valve cover breather, picked it up at a local place. I liked it cause you could put a screw into the top therefore being able to mount it out of the way.

I would not leave the end of the hose open. I had mud wasp build in vent hose and cause a pinion seal leak. I know that sounds stange, but it did happen to me a couple of months ago. I am looking for some type of check valve to put in the end of the vent hose. Anyone have a good idea???????
